Bill McGoldrick

Guitarist Bill McGoldrick lives nearby Maestro’s Walpole location and has been playing guitar professionally since the 1970s. A Graduate of Berklee College of Music, he is widely known in the Greater Boston Area as a first call guitar player. He has played with internationally known groups such as “The Platters”, “The Drifters” and “The Coasters”, as well as with many other popular bands in New England. He is now focused on teaching guitar and playing in his own Acoustic Duo, “The Bill McGoldrick Acoustic Duo”, which won WMRC’s Best Acoustic Duo in 2012 and was invited to play the music industry’s #1 Convention, NAMM in 2014. That particular gig Bill worked with Ingrid Andress as his duo partner, whom he worked with while she was attending Berklee. She is now one of the top country stars in the world, had a #1 song earlier in 2020 on the country charts and has been nominated for an ACM, (American Country Music Award). He is looking forward to working with students closer to his home in the Walpole Area.
